As the Turkish and Bulgarian Women's Friendship Association we know that Women's NGOs are performing many more roles and activities than they did a few decades ago. They make vital contributions to the society and we work hard for this as well.
RECENT HIGHLIGHTS

We visited the Dechitsa Foundation on July 1st and held a Lego Activity Workshop.

We visited the Borino Village Kindergarten on June 20th and delivered the books donated by the Turkish Embassy in Sofia to the kindergarten library. We also delivered the lego and puzzle sets, which were the gifts of our association.

We attended the 1st Bansko Summit held on June 14th and organized a workshop on values ​​that unites women NGOs in the session reserved for women NGOs.

On November 6th, 2022 we had a pleasant Sunday breakfast meeting with our esteemed honorary president, Ambassador Aylin Sekizkök.

We have organized many seminars throughout the year under the titles that we believe will create value for women.

​On February 1st, 2023, the association members attended the opening of the exhibition titled 'Traces of Contemporary Turkish Art', organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Sofia.

Following the devastating earthquake that struck Türkiye on February 6, a relief campaign was organized to address the most urgent needs. In-kind donations were carefully packaged and delivered to the affected regions through the Office of the Commercial Counsellor.

On the occasion of National Sovereignty and Children's Day on April 23th, donations collected with the contributions of association members and supporters were transferred to the account of the UNICEF National Committee for Türkiye to support children affected by the earthquake that struck Türkiye on February 6th.
ABOUT US
We Are Stronger Together!
Turkish and Bulgarian Women's Friendship Association was founded in 2006. It aims to strengthten friendly and cooperative relationships between Turkish and Bulgarian women.
​
One of the priorities of the Association is to hold social, cultural and charitable events which are organised through voluntarily efforts of its members.
​
The Association grows year by year and once again proves that solidarity and dialog between women achieve positive results in every sphere of life.
